It's been a busy few weeks here at Coco's. I exhibited at the very first Art fair held at the Manning Regional Art Gallery in Taree. It was a fabulous day, opening at the lovely hour of 10am, my kinda hours! The day was filled with a delightful stream of lovely people, it was really well run from an exhibitors point of view, I had a lovely stall in the Studio space and I was even able to hang some of my art which I was pretty chuffed about. I had lovely exhibitors around me as well so I'm thinking it's a great event for our region to support and I can see it flourishing. Well done MRAG.
I've been playing around with digital art and photoshop and adobe...... Aargh it's a whole new world, I am going to work on this seriously, there are a number of courses I wish to undertake but I need some knowledge of photoshop so it's massively on the to do list.
Coco's has been missing completed sock monkeys for awhile so this week and last I've taken some time out from painting to make some monkey friends for the shop, just in time for Easter if you are after a not so bunny present. I always love the faces on the monkeys, they are always so friendly. Did you know sock monkeys have been around since the Great Depression? Lack of toys and money lead to people turning socks into monkeys, I love
